Third-party reviews

What we like about Ameta S20 Pro

  • 13 MP camera with 4K recording
  • About 25 minutes from a 3000 mAh battery
  • GPS return-to-home, follow-me and waypoints
  • Light 181 g foldable frame
  • Brushless motors for steady flight

What we don't like about Ameta S20 Pro

  • No gimbal, so video shakes
  • Short Wi-Fi range of about 300 m
  • Not suited to long-distance flights
  • Only modest gains over the cheaper S20

Verdict

The Ameta S20 Pro builds on the standard S20 with a 13 MP camera and a slightly lighter 181 g frame, while keeping the long-flight formula that made the original popular. Its 3000 mAh battery is rated for about 25 minutes per flight, and brushless motors give steady, durable performance. GPS supports return-to-home, follow-me tracking and waypoint missions, which helps beginners fly outdoors with more confidence. The camera records 4K, but there is no gimbal, so footage shakes in wind or on fast turns. Video and control run over Wi-Fi with a range of about 300 m, which is fine for parks and fields but not for long-distance flights. Its weight keeps it well under 250 g. For buyers who want GPS features and long battery life with slightly better photos than the base model, it is a good-value choice.
