What we like about Imoo Watch Phone Z6

  • Innovative dual-camera flip structure (5MP front/8MP rear) for flexible video calling and photography
  • Highly durable build with IPX8 water resistance and Gorilla Glass protection, ideal for active children
  • Vibrant 1.41-inch AMOLED display that is easily readable even in direct sunlight
  • Solid battery life, typically lasting 2 to 3 days under normal usage conditions
  • Strong parental controls, including 'Class Mode' to prevent distractions during school and 'Stranger Rejection' to block unknown callers

What we don't like about Imoo Watch Phone Z6

  • Companion app for parents is often described as confusing, with poor English translations and occasional UI bugs
  • Geofencing (Security Guard) feature is limited because it primarily relies on Wi-Fi networks rather than GPS boundaries
  • Cellular connectivity can be inconsistent depending on the region and mobile operator
  • Premium pricing compared to other kids' smartwatches on the market
  • The watch's physical design is relatively bulky and heavy for smaller children's wrists

Verdict

The imoo Watch Phone Z6 is a premium, 4G-enabled kids' smartwatch featuring a unique flip-up design that reveals the world's first dual-camera system for wearables, consisting of an 8MP rear and 5MP front-facing wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. It is built with a 1.41-inch AMOLED display (320x360 resolution) protected by Gorilla Glass and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor with 512MB RAM and 8GB of storage. Main characteristics include IPX8 water resistance up to 20 meters, real-time location tracking using GPS, GLONASS, and Wi-Fi, and a 680mAh battery that typically lasts 2–3 days. Key pros include high-quality two-way video calling, a durable rugged build, and useful safety features like Class Mode and Stranger Rejection. However, some cons include a bulky design that may be too large for smaller wrists, a high retail price compared to competitors, and occasional inconsistencies in the parent companion app's location reporting.
