  • The readiness score combines sleep, HRV, stress and recent activity.
  • Heart rate readings rank among the most accurate tested on a wrist.

What we don't like about Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro

  • At 46 mm wide, the case can feel big on thin wrists.
  • Third-party apps are limited compared with Wear OS and watchOS.
  • Some advanced Huawei Health features need a subscription.
  • GPS tracks get irregular in some underground stretches, with tight bends smoothed out.
  • Contactless payment is so far limited to Germany, through Curve.

Verdict

If you spend long days on trails, on skis or on a bike, the Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro is a strong pick. Trail running mode lasts 51 h with GPS on, and the battery is rated at 12 days in normal use. It adds an ECG, which the standard GT 7 does not have, and the 3000 nits screen stays readable in direct sun. Dual-frequency GPS keeps routes steady, and the watch has 64 GB of internal storage. A daily readiness score combines sleep, HRV, stress and calories. The trade-off is size: at 46 mm wide, the case can feel big on thin wrists, and third-party apps are limited. It suits an outdoor athlete with larger wrists who wants long GPS sessions above all.
