What we don't like about Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro

  • No support for mobile payments (NFC) in many regions including the UK and Australia
  • Limited third-party app ecosystem compared to Wear OS or Apple Watch
  • Initial setup can be complex and finicky, especially for non-Huawei phone users
  • Limited notification interaction (cannot reply to messages on the watch)
  • Some users reported less reliable sleep tracking accuracy compared to high-end rings
  • Native turn-by-turn navigation is limited (requires phone or GPX imports)

Verdict

The Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro is a premium, lightweight smartwatch featuring a rectangular 1.82-inch AMOLED display with an industry-leading peak brightness of 3,000 nits and a durable sapphire glass cover. Encased in an aluminum body with a titanium alloy bezel, it measures 9.3 mm thick and weighs approximately 30.4 grams. Key technical capabilities include a dual-band five-system GNSS for offline map navigation, professional 40-meter free-diving support, and advanced health monitoring via the TruSense system, which includes ECG, skin temperature, and arterial stiffness detection. While it offers a long battery life of up to 10 days and impressive ruggedness, its main drawbacks are the lack of eSIM support and a limited selection of third-party applications compared to rival ecosystems.
