Verdict
The Holy Stone HS360E is a sub-250g GPS drone whose range covers most legal line-of-sight flying, but hover time is about 25 minutes and there's no mechanical gimbal.

Third-party reviews

What we like about Holy Stone HS360E

  • Digital video transmission with up to 6 km range
  • 249 g weight with EU C0 class marking
  • Waypoint flights, follow-me and return-to-home via GPS
  • Around 30 minutes of flight per battery with brushless motors
  • 12 MP stills and 4K video at a budget price

What we don't like about Holy Stone HS360E

  • No mechanical gimbal, so footage shakes in wind
  • No obstacle sensing for safer flights near trees or buildings
  • Small sensor struggles in low light
  • Live view quality is modest compared with DJI's O4 link

Verdict

The Holy Stone HS360E is a 249 g GPS camera drone with the EU C0 label and a digital video link instead of the usual Wi-Fi. That link reaches up to 6 km, a big step over the few hundred metres of cheaper Holy Stone models. The 4K camera captures 12 MP stills and relies on electronic stabilisation, so footage looks best on calm days. Brushless motors deliver around 30 minutes per battery, and the feature list covers return-to-home, follow-me tracking and waypoint flights planned in the app. A downside is the lack of a mechanical gimbal, which shows in windy conditions and fast pans, and there is no obstacle sensing. For beginners who want long range and GPS automation at a modest price, it is one of the better-equipped budget options.
