Verdict

The Philips 7000 Series PowerPro Expert FC9741/09 is a high-performance corded canister bagless vacuum cleaner featuring a 900W motor and advanced PowerCyclone 8 technology that drives a maximum airflow of 32.5 l/s to deliver an impressive 420 AW suction power. This model operates with a large 2L dust capacity container, a 7m cord providing a wide 10m cleaning radius, rubber wheels, and a certified Allergy H13 filtration system that captures 99.9% of fine dust and allergens. Main advantages include its exceptional deep-cleaning performance across hard floors and carpets via the 3-in-1 TriActive+ nozzle, electronic suction control, and an AllergyLock sensor that ensures a fully sealed container for hygienic, one-handed disposal. However, notable drawbacks include its heavier build at 5.5 kg, a moderately high maximum noise output level of 75-76 dB, and a tendency for the filtration unit to require frequent, regular maintenance to prevent suction drop-offs.
