Owners value its affordable sports tracking, but unreliable syncing, battery drain, and software problems leave many disappointed.

What owners dislike

  • Battery drains very fast when a Bluetooth chest strap is connected, losing around 20 to 30 percent in one hour, and a few owners see heavy overnight drain.28
  • GPS can take a long time to find satellites, sometimes many minutes, and tracks or distances can drift from a reference device.14
  • Runs often fail to sync to Strava or the Amazfit or Zepp app, and some owners say treadmill or indoor workouts never upload.13
  • Opening the settings menu on the watch can fail with a 'settings has stopped' error, and firmware updates can stall while searching for Wi-Fi.13
  • Bluetooth pairing with headphones, phones or a Polar chest strap often fails, and the watch loses its phone link at short range.13
  • Some units arrive with only Chinese and English, and owners struggle to switch the language because the update stays on the latest version.12
  • Notifications from phone apps can arrive late, not appear at all, or stay stuck on screen, and some owners say the watch will not vibrate for messages.12
