Third-party reviews

What we like about Holy Stone HS360D

  • Up to 40 minutes of flight per battery, about 80 minutes with two batteries
  • Digital video link with up to 6 km range
  • 249 g weight keeps it in the lightest regulatory class
  • GPS waypoints, follow-me and return-to-home
  • Strong value for long, relaxed flying sessions

What we don't like about Holy Stone HS360D

  • Small 1/3-inch 8.3 MP sensor gives grainy footage in low light
  • Electronic stabilisation only, no gimbal
  • No obstacle sensing
  • Live view quality is limited

Verdict

The Holy Stone HS360D is the long-endurance version of the HS360 family. Each battery delivers up to 40 minutes of flight, so the two-battery kit gives roughly 80 minutes in total, more than most drones in this price class. It keeps the 249 g weight, GPS with return-to-home, follow-me and waypoint missions, plus the digital video link with a range of up to 6 km. The 4K camera sits on a 1/3-inch 8.3 MP sensor with electronic stabilisation, so expect good daylight footage but visible shake in wind and grainy results at dusk. Control runs through the HS Fly app. There is no obstacle sensing and no gimbal. For pilots who value long sessions and range over image quality, it is a strong-value pick.
