What we like about Kospet Tank M4C

  • 16 days of rated battery life covers a long trip without a charger.
  • A built-in flashlight has five levels for night tasks.
  • In tests, magnetic charging took about 40 minutes from 35 to 100 percent.
  • At 66 g it is light enough for all-day wear.
  • A swim sport mode is included for pool sessions.
  • Many watch faces are included, some of them free.

What we don't like about Kospet Tank M4C

  • No offline maps, so routes stay on the phone.
  • The stress readings seem unreliable.
  • Charging from empty takes 120 min.
  • There is no fall detection or crash detection.
  • There is no ECG sensor.

Verdict

For a runner who forgets to charge, the Kospet Tank M4C is a sensible pick. Rated at 16 days, it lasts about that long in everyday use, and with GPS on it runs 21 h. Dual-frequency GPS keeps routes accurate, and the bright screen reads well at 1000 nits in daylight. The IP69K rating and 5 ATM build suit mud, rain and swimming, and the watch works from -50 °C to 70 °C. A built-in flashlight with five levels is handy on dark trails, and the always-on display keeps the time visible. The trade-off is the lack of offline maps: routes cannot be loaded onto the watch, so you follow them on the phone. It suits someone who wants long days of battery life and a tough, light watch for everyday training.
