Third-party reviews

What we like about Kospet Tank M4

  • 15 days of battery life covers a long trip without a charger.
  • Dual-frequency GPS stays reliable on every run.
  • A 100 m depth rating suits swimming and water sports.
  • IP69K protection handles hot, high-pressure cleaning.
  • The watch can act as a remote shutter for the iPhone camera.
  • It works from -50 °C to 70 °C, so cold winter runs are no problem.

What we don't like about Kospet Tank M4

  • At 80 g and 13 mm thick, it feels heavy on the wrist.
  • Copying music onto the watch is very slow, and tracks over 100 MB fail.
  • There is no fall detection or crash detection.
  • Notifications often show only the title, not the full message.
  • There is no ECG or blood pressure monitoring.

Verdict

Long days away from a charger suit the Kospet Tank M4, a rugged sports watch for people who train outdoors and would rather not charge it every night. The rated 15 days is realistic in light use, and with GPS on you get about 22 h. Dual-frequency GPS keeps routes accurate, and the workouts sync to Strava and Apple Health without fuss. A 100 m depth rating and IP69K protection mean rain, swims and muddy trails are no trouble. Its 1.96 inch AMOLED screen, rated at 1000 nits, reads well in sunlight. The trade-off is weight: at 80 g and 13 mm thick, the steel body feels heavy and takes time to get used to. It suits a runner or hiker who wants a tough watch that goes a week or more between charges.
