What we like about Huawei Watch Fit

  • Excellent battery life (typically 7–10 days on a single charge)
  • Bright and vibrant AMOLED display with high peak brightness
  • Lightweight and comfortable design suitable for 24/7 wear
  • Comprehensive fitness tracking with 100+ sports modes and built-in GPS
  • Affordable price point offering high value compared to premium competitors
  • Useful animated workout guides for beginners
  • Reliable sleep and heart rate monitoring for general health insights

What we don't like about Huawei Watch Fit

  • Limited third-party app ecosystem (no support for popular apps like Spotify or Strava directly)
  • Lack of contactless payment support (NFC often limited by region)
  • Inability to respond to notifications with full text (limited to quick replies on some models)
  • Heart rate accuracy can be 'iffy' during high-intensity exercise or water sports
  • No always-on display mode on some base models (drains battery significantly when available)
  • Fiddly proprietary magnetic charging cable
  • Setup and syncing issues reported by some iOS and non-Huawei Android users

Verdict

The Huawei Watch Fit is a versatile fitness-focused smartwatch featuring a 1.64-inch AMOLED rectangular display with a 280 x 456 resolution and 326 PPI. Weighing just 21g, it offers 5ATM water resistance, built-in GPS, and comprehensive health tracking including SpO2, heart rate (TruSeen 4.0), and sleep monitoring. Its main pros include 12 unique animated quick-workouts, up to 10 days of battery life with 5-minute quick charging, and support for 96 workout modes. However, it lacks third-party app support, NFC for payments, and can be difficult to sync with iOS devices.
