Verdict

The LG Watch W7 is a unique hybrid smartwatch featuring physical mechanical hands from Swiss maker Soprod layered over a 1.2-inch LCD touchscreen (360x360 resolution). Encased in premium STS316L stainless steel with an IP68 durability rating, it runs on Wear OS powered by a Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset, 768MB of RAM, and 4GB of storage. Its primary advantage is a dedicated 'Just Watch' mode that allows the analog hands to tell time for up to 100 days on a single 240mAh battery charge, even after the smart features have depleted. However, it suffers from significant omissions, lacking a heart rate monitor, GPS, and NFC for mobile payments, while the physical hands can frequently obstruct on-screen text and notifications.
