  • Limited notification interaction; users cannot reply to messages or view photos directly on the watch.

Verdict

The Huawei Watch GT Active Edition is a fitness-focused smartwatch featuring a 1.39-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a high 454 x 454 resolution and a durable ceramic bezel and stainless steel frame. Its main characteristics include a double-chipset architecture that enables a remarkable 14-day battery life, 5 ATM water resistance for swimming, and built-in triple-satellite positioning (GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO) for precise outdoor tracking. Key pros are its vibrant display, slim 10.6mm profile, and comprehensive health monitoring suite including TruSeen 3.0 heart rate tracking and TruSleep 2.0 sleep analysis. However, its main cons include a lack of third-party app support, no NFC for mobile payments, no Wi-Fi, and the inability to answer phone calls or control music playback directly from the wrist.
