What we like about Fire-Boltt Brillia

  • The 2.02 inch AMOLED screen is bright, at 750 nits.
  • Raise-to-wake responds instantly.
  • 120 exercise modes cover a wide range of sports.
  • It reads blood pressure as well as heart rate.
  • It includes a calculator and built-in games.
  • The wide silicone straps are comfortable.

What we don't like about Fire-Boltt Brillia

  • Battery lasts about one to two days with heavy use or calls, well short of the rated 7 days.
  • The 1 m depth rating means it is for splashes, not swimming.
  • At 60 g it is heavy on a slim wrist.
  • Software updates have ended.
  • There is no emergency SOS, fall detection or crash detection.

Verdict

A 2.02 inch AMOLED screen is the first thing you notice on the Fire-Boltt Brillia, and at 750 nits it looks bright and smooth. The interface is easy to move around, and raise-to-wake responds straight away. There are 120 exercise modes, so it suits someone who trains in many different ways. It tracks heart rate, sleep and stress, and it reads blood pressure, a feature not every watch has. Those readings are for reference only, not medical use. Calls work over Bluetooth. The trade-off is the battery: rated for 7 days, it lasts about one to two days with heavy use or calls. At 60 g it feels heavy on a slim wrist, and the 1 m depth rating means it is for splashes, not swimming.
