Verdict

The Amazfit GTR 4 New is a premium-designed smartwatch featuring a 1.45-inch HD AMOLED display with 466x466 resolution and anti-glare technology, encased in a durable stainless steel and aluminum alloy frame. Its core characteristics include the BioTracker 4.0 PPG sensor for 24/7 monitoring of heart rate, SpO2, and stress, alongside industry-leading dual-band circularly-polarised GPS that supports six satellite positioning systems for enhanced outdoor accuracy. Key pros are its exceptional 14-day battery life (475mAh), support for over 150 sports modes with intelligent recognition of 8 activities, and convenient lifestyle features like Bluetooth phone calls, music storage, and built-in Alexa. However, notable cons include a limited third-party app ecosystem compared to major rivals, the lack of NFC for contactless payments, and occasional inaccuracies in automated tracking for specific high-intensity exercises.
