Third-party reviews

What we like about Bwine F7 Mini

  • Three-axis gimbal plus EIS with a 1/2-inch 48 MP f/1.8 camera
  • Remote with a built-in 5.5-inch screen
  • About 32 minutes per battery at 249 g
  • 32 GB of internal storage
  • GPS return-to-home, follow-me and waypoints with a 6 km link

What we don't like about Bwine F7 Mini

  • No obstacle avoidance
  • 4K limited to 30 fps
  • App and support less polished than DJI
  • Lower-resolution live view on the remote

Verdict

The Bwine F7 Mini packs features usually found on pricier drones into a 249 g foldable body. A 1/2-inch 48 MP sensor with an f/1.8 lens sits on a three-axis gimbal backed by electronic stabilisation, and it records 4K/30 fps video. The remote has its own 5.5-inch screen, so no phone is needed, and 32 GB of internal storage means you can still record if you forget a memory card. A 2200 mAh battery is rated for about 32 minutes, while a digital link reaches around 6 km. GPS supports return-to-home, follow-me tracking and waypoint flights. There is no obstacle sensing, and Bwine's app and support are less refined than DJI's. For buyers who want a gimbal, a screen remote and long flights at a budget price, it is very good value.
