The Leica Q2 is a premium full-frame compact camera featuring a high-resolution 47.3-megapixel CMOS sensor paired with a fixed, optically stabilised Summilux 28mm f/1.7 ASPH lens. Built for exceptional detail and speed, it includes a robust magnesium-alloy body with IP52-rated weather sealing, a crisp 3.68MP OLED electronic viewfinder, a 10 fps burst shooting speed, and the ability to capture DCI 4K and UHD 4K video. Its major advantages are its superb edge-to-edge optical sharpness, excellent low-light performance, intuitive manual controls, and a dedicated macro focus mode that allows close-ups down to 17cm. On the downside, the camera comes with a very high price tag, lacks standard ports for external microphones or headphones, has a fixed focal length that restricts versatility for some users, and has a relatively small buffer that limits long continuous shooting bursts.
