What we don't like about Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 5G (12GB + 256GB)

  • High retail price compared to other Android tablets and laptops
  • Significant size and weight (692g) make it fatiguing to hold for long periods
  • Redesigned S Pen lacks Bluetooth functionality found in previous models
  • Under-screen fingerprint sensor and face recognition can be slow or unreliable
  • Absence of 5G connectivity in some regions or specific Wi-Fi configurations
  • Speakers lack deep bass response despite high volume
  • Keyboard cover is sold separately and is quite expensive

Verdict

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 5G (12GB + 256GB) is a premium productivity and gaming tablet featuring a massive 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 1600 nits peak brightness and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ 3nm processor, it offers significant gains in AI and graphics performance, supported by a 11,600mAh battery with 45W fast charging and an IP68-rated ultra-slim 5.1mm armor aluminum body. Main pros include its laptop-rivaling screen real estate with anti-reflective coating, integrated Galaxy AI features, and the included redesigned hexagonal S Pen, though it has some notable cons such as the removal of the secondary wide-angle selfie camera, the lack of a built-in vibration motor, and the S Pen no longer supporting Bluetooth for remote gestures.
