Verdict

The Apple Watch SE (2nd Generation, 2022) 40mm Cellular features a lightweight aluminium case (27.8g) and a bright Retina LTPO OLED display (up to 1,000 nits) powered by the S8 SiP dual-core processor with 32GB of storage. Its main characteristics include 4G LTE connectivity for phone-free use, water resistance up to 50 metres, and advanced safety tools like Crash Detection and Fall Detection. Key pros include its smooth performance comparable to flagship models, comprehensive fitness tracking, and a more affordable price point. However, notable cons include the lack of an always-on display and the absence of advanced health sensors for ECG, blood oxygen (SpO2), and body temperature monitoring.
