The Noble FoKus Apollo ($649 USD) is the brand's first over-ear headphone, featuring a unique hybrid speaker configuration with a 40mm dynamic driver for punchy bass and a 14.5mm planar magnetic driver for clear midranges and crisp treble. Built with premium materials like Alcantara and anodized aluminum, the headphones offer a comfortable fit, an exceptionally wide soundstage for a closed-back design, and an outstanding battery life of up to 80 hours with active noise cancellation (ANC) turned off (and 60 hours with ANC enabled). It supports high-resolution wireless codecs like LDAC and features a responsive companion app with an adjustable equalizer to customize its vivid, aggressive sound signature. Despite its top-tier sound quality and premium build, the FoKus Apollo has notable drawbacks, starting with its steep price tag. Additionally, it lacks a 2.4 GHz wireless dongle, making it less ideal for zero-latency wireless gaming compared to alternatives like the Master & Dynamic MG20. While the hybrid ANC is decent at cutting down low-frequency noises, it does not achieve the industry-leading noise isolation levels of flagships from Sony or Bose. Finally,...

The Noble FoKus Apollo ($649.00) marks Noble Audio's first entry into the over-ear wireless market, utilizing a patented hybrid driver setup that pairs a 40mm dynamic driver with a 14.5mm planar magnetic driver. This configuration produces a dynamic, slightly V-shaped sound signature featuring an exceptionally robust bass with deep sub-bass decay, sparkling and airy treble that avoids sibilance, and a remarkably wide, three-dimensional soundstage. The premium build incorporates an anodized aluminium frame, an Alcantara headband, and replaceable protein leather earpads. On the technical side, it offers outstanding battery endurance—lasting up to 75 hours without ANC and 58 hours with it enabled—alongside stable Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity supporting high-end codecs like LDAC and aptX HD, multipoint pairing, and a versatile, detachable boom microphone for clear call quality. Despite its strengths, the V-shaped tuning results in a lower midrange that can feel slightly recessed, occasionally leaving instruments like cellos or pianos lacking full body. While its hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and passive memory foam seal effectively mitigate low-frequency ambient sounds like engine hums, the ANC struggles with higher-frequency noises like voices and...

Based on the review, the Noble Audio FoKus Apollo (£599) is a premium pair of over-ear wireless headphones that stands out for introducing the world's first hybrid driver system, combining a 40mm dynamic driver with a 14.5mm planar magnetic driver. This unique design delivers spectacular, audiophile-grade audio quality with an exceptional soundstage, crisp highs, and deep, well-balanced bass that doesn't overwhelm the midrange. Another major strength is its massive battery life, offering up to 80 hours of playback with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) turned off and 60 hours with it turned on. It also provides excellent passive noise isolation from its soft leather earpads, reliable Bluetooth 5.3 dual-device pairing, and a handy detachable boom microphone for clearer calls,,. However, the headphones come with notable downsides, particularly regarding comfort and ANC performance. The headband lacks adequate cushioning, causing it to become painful and feel overly tight during extended use,. Crucially, enabling ANC noticeably compresses the soundstage and degrades the rich...

Its hybrid driver setup offers an engaging, detailed, and non-fatiguing treble with crisp, fast, and plucky performance.
