What we don't like about Amazfit Bip 3 Pro

  • Included silicone strap can feel cheap or uncomfortable when sweaty
  • TFT display lacks the vibrancy of more expensive AMOLED screens
  • No auto-brightness feature, requiring frequent manual adjustments

  • Limited third-party app ecosystem compared to major competitors
  • Manual documentation is sparse and not very helpful for novices

Verdict

The Amazfit Bip 3 Pro is a budget-friendly smartwatch featuring a 1.69-inch TFT-LCD display with 240x280 resolution and a lightweight 33.2g plastic body. Its standout characteristics include built-in support for four satellite positioning systems (GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS), a 5 ATM water resistance rating for swimming, and a 280mAh battery that delivers up to 14 days of typical use. Key pros are its exceptional battery life, accurate standalone GPS for the price point, and comprehensive health tracking including SpO2, 24/7 heart rate, and 60+ sports modes. However, main cons include a lack of an always-on display, occasionally patchy heart rate accuracy during high-intensity exercise, and the absence of advanced features like NFC for payments or a built-in microphone for calls.
