  • Slow ambient light sensor response

Verdict

The Blackview Oscal Tiger 10 is an affordable 4G smartphone running Doke OS 4.0 based on Android 14, featuring a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and a slim, lightweight design (195g). Powered by an octa-core Unisoc T606 processor, it offers 16GB of RAM (8GB physical plus 8GB virtual expansion) and a generous 256GB of expandable storage (up to 1TB via microSD). A significant pro is its substantial 5180mAh battery, providing long-lasting use, and a capable 50MP main camera that captures detailed photos in good light conditions. A key con, however, is the camera's poor audio recording quality for videos, particularly in loud environments, which can render them unusable. The display resolution is also only HD+ (720x1612 pixels) and some reviewers note minor screen darkening at certain viewing angles.
