What we like about HTW IX75 2.5 kW

  • Cools and heats rooms quickly and effectively, especially using the Turbo mode
  • Operates quietly with a very low minimum noise level (around 21 dB)
  • Highly energy efficient with an A++ rating for cooling and DC Inverter technology
  • Good value for money offering a solid baseline of features at an affordable price
  • Useful comfort features like the 'I Feel' remote temperature sensor and a 24-hour timer
  • Low-maintenance design with auto-cleaning, dual-sided drainage, and mold-proof fan functions

What we don't like about HTW IX75 2.5 kW

  • Requires professional installation by a certified technician rather than being plug-and-play
  • Smart features and Wi-Fi capability are only optional or require extra setup on certain basic IX75 models
  • The official user manual can be confusing, poorly translated, or reference missing buttons

Verdict

The HTW IX75 (2.5 kW / 9,000 BTU) is a wall-mounted 1x1 split air conditioner designed for small rooms, providing a 2.5 kW cooling capacity (770W consumption, SEER 6.1, A++ rating) and a 2.6 kW heating capacity (680W consumption, SCOP 4.0, A+ rating) powered by DC Inverter technology and eco-friendly R32 refrigerant. Its main features and advantages include an exceptionally low minimum indoor noise level of 21 dB in silent mode, integrated Wi-Fi control via the GIApp application (compatible with Alexa and Google Home), an ECO mode for restricted power intake, self-cleaning, an "I Feel" temperature sensor built into the remote, and corrosion-resistant Golden Fin protection on the coils. Conversely, its primary drawbacks are its capacity limitation to small areas up to 15-20 m², the requirement of professional installation for both indoor and outdoor units, and the standard aesthetic disruption of a visible wall-mounted split system.
