Verdict

The Eureka Stylus Elite NEC490 is a cordless stick vacuum powered by a 350W brushless DC motor that delivers up to 130 AW (24,000 Pa) of suction power across multiple floor types. Key features include a 0.6L onboard dust cup, a 25.9V removable lithium-ion battery providing up to 60 minutes of runtime, a 5-layer HEPA filtration system, and an automatic self-emptying docking station equipped with a 3L sealed bag. Main pros highlight its lightweight 7.5 lb build, a versatile lay-flat design with LED headlights that fits under low profiles, a 3-speed fingertip mode switch, and an anti-tangle motorized brushroll ideal for pet hair. However, noted cons include slightly diminished deep-cleaning performance on thick carpets and rugs compared to traditional bristle brushes, alongside a relatively long 4-hour battery recharge time.
