What we like about Oneplus Watch

  • Industry-leading battery life, often lasting 4–5 days even with heavy Wear OS use.
  • Premium build quality featuring stainless steel, titanium bezels, and sapphire crystal.
  • Bright and responsive AMOLED displays, with the Watch 3 reaching up to 2200 nits.
  • Fast charging capabilities (Warp/VOOC) that provide a day's worth of power in 10–15 minutes.
  • Smooth, lag-free performance due to dual-chip architecture (Snapdragon W5 + BES series).
  • Attractive, classic round design that mimics traditional luxury timepieces.

What we don't like about Oneplus Watch

  • Large and bulky 46mm+ case size that is often too big for smaller wrists.
  • Inconsistent health tracking, particularly heart rate lag during high-intensity intervals and variable sleep data interpretation.
  • Lack of 'standard' smart features like fall detection and ECG in certain regions or older models.
  • Limited ecosystem integration, such as the absence of sync between phone and watch for Do Not Disturb (DND) or Bedtime modes.
  • Software limitations in older models (non-Wear OS) which lacked third-party app support and mobile payments.
  • The companion OHealth app is frequently described as basic or unpolished compared to competitors like Garmin or Fitbit.

Verdict

The OnePlus Watch is a 46.4mm circular smartwatch featuring a 1.39-inch AMOLED display (454x454 resolution, 326 PPI) housed in a 316L stainless steel case with IP68 and 5ATM water resistance. It runs a proprietary RTOS-based operating system with 4GB of internal storage and a 402mAh battery that provides a standout typical life of up to 14 days, supported by fast charging that offers a day's power in just five minutes. Key characteristics include integrated GPS, heart rate monitoring, SpO2 blood oxygen tracking, and over 110 workout modes, alongside the ability to take Bluetooth calls and control music directly from the wrist. Main pros are its premium build quality, exceptional battery endurance, and responsive interface; however, it is frequently criticized for its lack of third-party app support, absence of an always-on display at launch, and its single large size which may be too bulky for smaller wrists.
