Verdict

The Logitech G303 Shroud Edition is a specialized wireless gaming mouse featuring a unique, diamond-like symmetrical shape optimized for claw grip users with medium to large hands. It is equipped with the high-precision HERO 25K sensor offering up to 25,600 DPI, LIGHTSPEED wireless technology for ultra-low latency, and an impressive battery life of up to 145 hours. Main characteristics include a lightweight 75g build, USB-C charging, crisp mechanical clicks, and large PTFE feet for smooth gliding. Its primary pros are its world-class sensor performance, exceptional battery longevity, and solid build quality with zero-additive feet. However, its highly polarizing, non-ergonomic shape can be uncomfortable for palm grippers or those with small hands, and it lacks RGB lighting despite its premium price point.

What customers like about Logitech G303 Shroud Edition?

  • Exceptional battery life, rated for up to 145 hours of constant motion
  • Highly specialized diamond shape offers a secure, 'locked-in' feel for claw grip users
  • Flawless wireless performance with ultra-low click latency via LIGHTSPEED technology
  • Excellent build quality with a sturdy, creak-free shell and solid overall construction
  • Crisp and responsive primary clicks with minimal pre- or post-travel
  • Convenient USB-C charging and dedicated internal storage for the USB receiver
  • High-precision HERO 25K sensor provides consistent and accurate tracking

What customers dislike about Logitech G303 Shroud Edition?

  • Polarizing 'unsafe' shape that is largely uncomfortable for palm grip users
  • Not suitable for small hands; the increased width and dimensions favor medium to large hands
  • Side buttons can be difficult to reach or feel spongy compared to the primary clicks
  • Considered heavy (75g) by some compared to modern 'ultra-light' competitors under 60g
  • The rubber charging cable is stiff, non-flexible, and prone to curling
  • Higher price point, often attributed to a 'Shroud tax' for the collaboration
  • Limited customisation options with only five programmable buttons and no RGB lighting
