What we like about Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7 0 3G (1GB + 8GB)

  • Compact and lightweight design makes it easy to hold with one hand for reading.
  • Highly responsive touchscreen interface that is user-friendly for beginners and children.
  • Include a microSD card slot for expandable storage up to 64GB.
  • Solid battery life for everyday tasks like browsing and video playback.

What we don't like about Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7 0 3G (1GB + 8GB)

  • Display resolution (1024x600) is considered low and dated, leading to pixelated text and images.
  • Frequent performance lag and 'freezing' when running multiple apps or graphic-intensive games.
  • Limited internal storage, with only about 5GB available to the user out of the 8GB total.
  • Cameras lack essential features like auto-focus and flash, making them poor for high-quality photos or scanning barcodes.
  • Lacks support for USB On-The-Go (OTG), limiting the use of external peripherals.

Verdict

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 3G (SM-T211) is a compact 7-inch tablet featuring a 1024x600 resolution TFT display and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It includes 8GB of internal storage expandable up to 64GB via microSD and is powered by a 4,000mAh battery providing up to 8 hours of internet usage. Key advantages include its highly portable, lightweight design (306g), full 3G voice calling and SMS capabilities, and integrated GPS for navigation. However, the device suffers from a low-resolution screen with poor pixel density, mediocre multitasking performance that often leads to lagging, and cameras (3MP rear, 1.3MP front) that lack autofocus and a flash.
