What we like about Realme Watch

  • Affordable entry-level price point
  • Comprehensive health monitoring for the cost, including SpO2 and heart rate sensors
  • Lightweight and comfortable design for 24/7 wear
  • Useful remote controls for phone music and camera shutter
  • Decent battery life, typically lasting 4 to 9 days depending on settings
  • IP68 water and dust resistance rating

What we don't like about Realme Watch

  • Noticeable lag and slow responsiveness in the touchscreen interface
  • Large, chunky bezels around the display, particularly at the bottom
  • Lack of built-in GPS, requiring a connected smartphone for activity mapping
  • Inconsistent accuracy in sports tracking and heart rate during high-intensity workouts
  • Limited customisation with few watch face options available on-device
  • No Always-On Display (AOD) or automatic brightness adjustment
  • Basic notification support that does not allow for replies or viewing images

Verdict

The Realme Watch is a budget-friendly wearable featuring a 1.4-inch color touchscreen with a 320x320 resolution and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Key hardware includes an IP68 water-resistance rating, a 160mAh battery providing 7 to 9 days of typical use, and a suite of health sensors for 24/7 heart rate monitoring and SpO2 blood-oxygen measurement. Its main pros include a lightweight 31g design, support for 14 sports modes, and integrated smart controls for music and camera functions. However, common cons include a lack of built-in GPS, limited official support for iOS at launch, and a display that can be slow to respond or difficult to read in direct sunlight without manual brightness adjustments.
