Verdict

The Trust GXT 923 Ybar is a low-latency wireless gaming mouse featuring an optical sensor with an adjustable resolution ranging from 200 to 7200 DPI, a 1000Hz polling rate, and a 15G acceleration. It is built with 69% recycled plastics and offers a rechargeable battery that provides up to 50 hours of playtime on a single charge, with the added benefit of being usable while charging via the included USB-C cable. Its main characteristics include full RGB LED lighting, six programmable buttons (including two thumb buttons), and low-friction gliding pads for smooth movement. Pros include its sustainable design, customizable software for macros and lighting, and a storable USB micro-receiver for easy portability. However, cons include a relatively loud clicking sound, lack of macOS software support, and a short 30-second energy-saving timer that may be disruptive for some users.
