Verdict

The Redragon M988 Storm Elite is a high-performance, right-handed gaming mouse featuring a lightweight honeycomb shell (85g) and a high-precision PixArt PMW3389 optical sensor, offering up to 32,000 DPI, 400 IPS tracking speed, and 50G acceleration. Key characteristics include eight programmable buttons, a flexible 'super-lite' 1.8m paracord-style cable for minimal drag, and five onboard memory profiles with customisable RGB lighting modes. Main pros include its exceptional sensor accuracy for the price point, a comfortable ergonomic shape suitable for palm and claw grips, and durable Huano switches rated for 20 million clicks. However, potential cons include a larger size that may not suit smaller hands, side buttons that some users find difficult to press, and lack of official macOS software compatibility.
