Verdict

The Polti Vaporetto SV450_DOUBLE is a versatile 2-in-1 corded electric appliance that functions as both an upright steam mop and a detachable handheld steam cleaner. It features a powerful 1500-watt heating element that heats up in just 15 seconds, a 0.3-litre removable water tank for unlimited working autonomy, and a wide 7.5-metre operating reach. Weighing only 2.4 kg, it comes equipped with a Vaporforce brush, an integrated Frescovapor deodorant dispenser, an anti-limescale filter, and 13 accessories to treat up to 15 different household surfaces. Main pros include its lightweight design, rapid heat-up time, and chemical-free sanitisation that eliminates 99.9% of germs and bacteria. However, some cons include a relatively small water capacity that requires frequent refills, a slightly bulky power cable, and some structural components that feel a bit flimsy.
