The TechPowerUp review of the Glorious GMMK 3 Pro HE Wireless Keyboard highlights its exceptional build quality, featuring a heavy anodized aluminum bottom panel, and unprecedented customization through the Glorious Boardsmith configurator. A significant pro is the modular hybrid PCB, which supports both traditional 3/5-pin MX and advanced magnetic Hall Effect (HE) switches for features like rapid trigger. Conversely, the review identifies major cons, including a potentially astronomical cost exceeding $500, poor battery life due to constantly active HE sensors, and buggy software. Further concerns involve weak, hollow-sounding plate-mounted stabilizers and a loose fit for certain switches. YouTube ·

The Glorious GMMK 3 Pro HE is positioned as an ambitious, high-end entry into the custom gaming keyboard market, praised for its unparalleled customisability and accessible upgrade path. Starting at a modest entry point of $119.99 for a basic prebuilt model, users can extensively tailor their device using the "Glorious Boardsmith" 10-step configurator, choosing between 65%, 75%, and 100% form factors and a massive array of cases, switches, and keycaps. The tested 75% Pro HE variant features an impeccable, heavy aluminium build that anchors firmly to the desk and offers highly bright RGB side-lighting and a magnetic badge. A standout feature is its Hall Effect (HE) magnetic switches, supporting an 8,000Hz polling rate when wired, a wide travel range (0.1mm to 4.0mm), and innovative gaming features like Rapid Trigger and Mod Tap. Crucially, the keyboard breaks industry norms by offering a backwards-compatible PCB that allows users to freely hot-swap and mix traditional 2-pin mechanical switches with magnetic HE switches on the same board. Despite the hardware excellence, the keyboard is held back significantly by its unfinished software ecosystem. The primary...

The Glorious GMMK 3, reviewed by PCMag, is characterized as an ultra-premium, highly customizable mechanical keyboard that offers nearly endless personalization options and an easy-to-open design for enthusiast tinkering. Earning an Editors' Choice award, the keyboard stands out for its attractive aesthetic, solid typing feel, and a streamlined configuration process that allows for extensive modifications. Conversely, the review notes that the, "experiential variance" is extreme, with top-tier configurations like the Pro HE model reaching a high cost of $519, while the barebones model starts at a more accessible $79.99. While highly recommended for enthusiasts, the device's final price and user experience depend heavily on chosen components, with some minor design criticisms noted in the evaluation.

The Glorious GMMK 3 Pro HE Wired keyboard is highlighted as an exceptionally premium, enthusiast-grade 75% layout keyboard designed to satisfy both productivity and high-performance gaming needs. A standout feature of this model is its dual hot-swap switch socket, which uniquely allows users to simultaneously mix and match standard MX mechanical switches and magnetic Hall effect switches on the same board. Built with a heavy, durable full-aluminum body, it features a comfortable 6-degree typing angle, modular gasket system, custom sound dampening, a rotary knob, and customizable side RGB lighting. For gaming, its Hall effect compatibility unlocks advanced performance customisations through the Glorious CORE software, including an 8,000Hz polling rate, Rapid Trigger functionality, and Dynamic Keystroke programming to map four actions to a single key. Despite its stellar flexibility, the keyboard has a few notable drawbacks, primarily its steep $319.99 retail price for the fully assembled prebuilt version. Additionally, the reviewer noted that the pre-installed Glorious Fox HE red magnetic switches were less than ideal for typing comfort, prompting a swap to Cherry MX Black switches for everyday work. The Glorious GMMK 3 Pro 75% is a premium, dense mechanical keyboard praised for its exceptional CNC-machined aluminum chassis and extensive customisation depth. Its heavy weight anchors the board firmly during intense gaming sessions, while the gasket-mounted construction and layered dampening foam deliver a clean, acoustic profile free of metallic ping. Key pros include its robust build quality, hot-swappable 3-pin and 5-pin switch support, reliable low-latency wireless connectivity, and the modular design that allows users to seamlessly swap the case colour, plate materials, knobs, badges, and keycaps without soldering. However, the keyboard is not without its drawbacks. A notable con is its significant heft, which may pose a challenge for users looking for a highly portable, travel-friendly keyboard setup. Additionally, it is not an ideal "plug-and-play" device for casual users, as unlocking its full enthusiast-grade potential requires a clear commitment to tweaking and personalization. Earning a 9/10 review score, it ultimately stands out as a highly adaptable and rewarding choice for individuals who value tailored typing feel and long-term performance.

The Glorious GMMK 3 Pro HE features a robust, premium build with an arctic blue anodized aluminium chassis weighing over 2.8 kg, complemented by an aluminium rotary knob and magnetic branding. It offers effective RGB, featuring both per-key lighting and side diffusers, along with customization options like a magnetic badge. However, the keyboard’s excessive weight hinders its portability, making the wireless feature feel unnecessary compared to a fixed, wired setup. Additionally, the design lacks functional indicator lights, and the modular magnetic badge serves no purpose beyond aesthetics. TechPowerUp

The Galaxus review of the Glorious GMMK 3 Pro HE highlights exceptional build quality, featuring an anodised CNC-machined aluminium chassis and satisfying typing feel, along with high-performance Hall Effect switches for gaming. However, the keyboard is held back by poor-sounding stock switches and unreliable, unfinished Glorious Core software that lacks essential features. At an exorbitant price point, the keyboard is deemed a poor value, offering no advantages over cheaper competitors like the Keychron Q1 HE, leading to a non-recommendation. While the physical hardware is robust, the software, subpar stock switches, and severe price-to-performance imbalance make it impossible to justify the high cost. Galaxus.de
