Logitech G915 X LIGHTSPEED The Logitech G915 X LIGHTSPEED is a premium, full-sized, low-profile wireless mechanical gaming keyboard that successfully updates its iconic 2019 predecessor. Standing at just 22.6mm tall, the keyboard retains its predecessor's sleek, all-aluminum frame while introducing massive under-the-hood upgrades. Key improvements include a shift to premium double-shot PBT keycaps for superior durability and texture, more vibrant shine-through RGB lighting, and redesigned low-profile GL mechanical switches. These new switches feature a reduced 1.3mm actuation point for faster, quieter, and snappier responsiveness during gaming and typing. Performance is stellar across its tri-mode connectivity options, which include ultra-low-latency 2.4 GHz LIGHTSPEED, Bluetooth, and USB-C wired modes. Users gain deep layout customization via Logitech’s G Hub software, utilizing the board's 9 dedicated G-keys and advanced KEYCONTROL features. Despite its exceptional build quality and software suite, the keyboard commands a steep $259.99 MSRP that magnifies its few flaws. The most significant drawbacks are that the switches are not hot-swappable, preventing future replacement, and that the physical layout suffers from noticeable wobble on the larger keys during intensive use. Additionally, the basic,...

The Logitech G915x Lightspeed is a premium, low-profile mechanical gaming keyboard that builds upon its predecessor, the G915, by introducing several design and physical layout enhancements. Weighing a sturdy 1,080 grams, it features a brushed aluminium top plate, additional programmable G-keys, a cast aluminium volume roller, and a standard cross-style switch stem that allows users to swap in third-party keycaps easily. Performance is exceptionally fast due to new GL low-profile switches that drop the actuation point from 1.5mm to 1.3mm while requiring less physical force to press. It offers versatile wireless connectivity via standard Bluetooth or Logitech's low-latency Lightspeed dongle, and it includes robust customization layers via the G-Hub software platform. The review highlights several key advantages, notably the switch to double-shot PBT matte plastic keycaps that prevent paint wear and keep characters looking clean. Battery life has also seen a significant boost, yielding up to 36 hours of continuous use at maximum brightness and extending up to a massive 800 hours with the RGB backlighting completely disabled. However, a prominent physical drawback is the ongoing lack of a dedicated...

The Logitech G915 X LIGHTSPEED, as reviewed by Gaming Nexus, is a premium, low-profile mechanical keyboard featuring a durable 1.5mm brushed aluminum top plate, doubleshot PBT keycaps, and fast 1.3mm actuation. It offers versatile tri-mode connectivity and dedicated G-keys for macros, aiming to improve on its predecessor with a more rigid construction and better battery life. Pros include excellent build quality, improved battery, and stable performance, while cons are centered on the high $229.99 price point and the lack of hot-swappable switches. While the transition to USB-C is welcomed, the software for macro customization may be complex for some users.

The Logitech G915 X LIGHTSPEED is a premium low-profile wireless gaming keyboard featuring a rigid, brushed aluminum top plate and durable doubleshot PBT keycaps, addressing durability concerns found in previous models. It excels in performance with remarkably low wireless latency, 1000Hz polling, and expanded customization, including nine dedicated macro inputs and software that allows remapping any key. Conversely, the keyboard is noted for only decent typing quality, characterized by noticeable key wobble and a hollow feel, particularly on larger stabilizers. The short travel distance of the low-profile switches may feel abrupt, and the unit lacks multi-device Bluetooth pairing capabilities. RTINGS.com

The Logitech G915X Lightspeed (Tactile) is a premium, low-profile mechanical keyboard that successfully bridges the gap between high-end gaming and professional productivity workflows. As a refined successor to the 2019 original, it introduces crucial structural upgrades, including durable Double-shot PBT keycaps that resist grease, a thicker 1.5mm aluminium top plate, a modern USB-C charging port, and standard MX cross-style stems. Performance is anchored by tactile brown switches with a shortened 1.3mm actuation distance for near-instant responsiveness. Its standout physical features include an exceptionally ergonomic, infinite-scroll volume roller, dedicated media buttons, and nine programmable G-keys that unlock immense macro customization through the Logitech G-Hub software. However, the keyboard comes with notable trade-offs that may deter certain users. Its steep retail price of A$369.95 puts it at a premium, especially since the mechanical switches are soldered to the board and not hot-swappable—a major drawback for hardcore enthusiasts looking for easy repairs or customization. Furthermore, maximizing the keyboard's productivity features requires a heavy reliance on the G-Hub background software, which the reviewer found unintuitive and necessary for complex key remaps, macros, or utilizing...

The Logitech G915 X Lightspeed TKL is a sleek, low-profile, wireless mechanical gaming keyboard that offers stable 2.4GHz Lightspeed, Bluetooth, and wired connectivity, alongside smooth customization through G HUB software and robust battery life that easily handles days of mixed use. It features a sturdy, thin brushed-metal chassis, satisfying rubberized shortcut buttons, and a highly responsive volume wheel. Gamers will appreciate the fast tactile switches and low actuation point that helps prevent finger fatigue during long play sessions. However, the keyboard falls short of its high premium price tag, with cheap-feeling, double-shot PBT keycaps that lack sufficient grip and cause fingers to slip during intense use. The tactile switches are overly clicky and loud, and the cramped layout combined with shallow, two-stage tilting feet makes it uncomfortable for standard typing tasks. Additionally, the hardware is not hot-swappable, and it uniquely lacks the ability to hot-switch between multiple saved Bluetooth devices. Ultimately, it struggles to compete against rivals like the Razer Huntsman V2 Analog or the more affordable Razer Pro Type Ultra.

The Logitech G915 X Lightspeed TKL is a premium, low-profile wireless mechanical gaming keyboard that combines excellent build quality with a highly polished aesthetic. Measuring just 0.9 inches high, it features a sturdy 1.5mm-thick brushed aluminum alloy plate that eliminates deck flex entirely. Performance is driven by its 2.4GHz Lightspeed and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, alongside a shallow 1.3mm key actuation distance that ensures fast and responsive gaming inputs. It stands out for its usability features, boasting an intuitive one-inch-wide volume roller, dedicated media buttons, and vibrant per-key RGB backlighting. Battery performance varies significantly depending on lighting usage, stretching from 36 hours at maximum RGB brightness up to an impressive 800 hours with the illumination turned off entirely. Despite its high-quality construction, the keyboard has a few notable limitations given its steep $199.99 price tag. Its primary drawback is that the key switches are not hot-swappable, forcing buyers to lock in their choice of Clicky, Linear, or Tactile switches at the time of purchase. Furthermore, full-size customization effects are restricted over Bluetooth, requiring the Lightspeed connection to unlock all animations via...

Gamers and typists alike will appreciate its premium build quality, comfortable typing layout, and exceptional battery life, which lasts up to 1,000 hours with the RGB backlighting turned off or around 42 hours at full brightness. It offers robust tri-mode connectivity (2.4GHz Lightspeed, Bluetooth, and USB-C) alongside dedicated media controls, a smooth volume roller, and deep three-layer remapping through the G Hub software. However, the keyboard comes with notable drawbacks, primarily its steep price tag and the fact that the switches are not hot-swappable, meaning they cannot be easily replaced if they fail. The typing experience is hindered by persistent keycap rattle and minor metallic pings against the aluminum plate, which may disappoint keyboard enthusiasts looking for a cleaner acoustic profile. Additionally, its Bluetooth connectivity is restrictive, allowing...
