Reviews last updated: August 2026 · How we calculate this

What we like about Dreo Smart Humidifier HM735S 11L

  • Massive 11-liter water tank capacity minimizes the need for frequent refills
  • Long operational runtime reaching up to 100 hours on a single fill
  • Excellent wide-area coverage suitable for large rooms up to 700 square feet
  • Highly responsive and feature-rich smart app control alongside voice assistant integration
  • Extremely quiet operation at 26dB, especially when set to sleep mode
  • Ultrafine mist prevents white dust accumulation on floors and furniture
  • Convenient top-fill design makes adding water straightforward

What we don't like about Dreo Smart Humidifier HM735S 11L

  • Built-in humidity sensor can occasionally provide inaccurate readings
  • Lack of Wi-Fi memory requires the unit to re-sync with the app whenever it is unplugged and moved
  • Demineralization cartridges require regular monthly replacements, adding to long-term costs
  • The large tank lacks a traditional fold-over carrying handle, making it awkward to transport when full

Verdict

The Dreo Smart Humidifier HM735S features an extra-large 11-liter (2.9-gallon) top-fill tank designed to efficiently cover areas up to 700 square feet with a 3,900 RPM high-speed motor that propels a 5μm ultrafine cool mist over 6 feet high. Key characteristics and pros include a maximum continuous runtime of 100 hours, auto-adjusting smart humidity control (±5% precision) via the Dreo App, Amazon Alexa, or Google Home, a quiet sleep mode operating at just 26dB, 1,500+ customizable RGB ambient light colors, an integrated essential oil aroma tray, and a scale-inhibitor demineralization cartridge to prevent white dust. However, notable cons include its large floor-standing footprint (measuring 10.24 x 8.86 x 30.91 inches), the ongoing maintenance cost of replacing the scale-inhibitor cartridge monthly, and the potential difficulty of moving or emptying the bulky 11L water tank when fully filled.
