Verdict

The VARO Powerplus 1200W Ash Vacuum Cleaner is a specialized tool designed to clean fireplaces, barbecues, and wood stoves using a robust 1200-watt motor that delivers up to 19 kPa of strong suction power. Main characteristics include a durable 20-liter steel tank, a heat-resistant aluminum suction nozzle capable of handling cooled ash up to 60°C, and a high-efficiency double-layer washable dust filter that safely locks in microscopic particles. Key pros include its versatile dual suction and blower functions, excellent portability with four attached wheels and a built-in carrying handle, and a generous 3.5-meter power cable for enhanced freedom of movement. However, notable cons include its limitation to cooled ash only—as it cannot handle burning coals—and the requirement for frequent filter cleaning to prevent clogs and maintain optimal suction performance.

What customers like about VARO POWER PLUS 1200W?

  • Powerful 1200W motor provides strong suction (up to 19 kPa) that effectively picks up fine ash, dust, and sawdust.
  • Integrated dual-layered/HEPA filtration system stops tiny particles and prevents odor leakage into the living space.
  • Dual functionality allows it to work as both an ash vacuum and a blower for clearing dust from patios or workspaces.
  • Equipped with a highly durable, heat-resistant metal tank (20L) and an aluminum nozzle safe for warm ashes up to 60°C.
  • Good mobility features including four wheels and a compact carrying handle for easy transport.

What customers dislike about VARO POWER PLUS 1200W?

  • The internal filters clog up quickly with fine dust, requiring regular cleaning, tapping, or blowing out after every few uses.
  • The large internal filter takes up a substantial amount of space inside the 20-liter tank, slightly reducing its effective capacity.
  • The nozzle and hose diameter can sometimes choke or get blocked if trying to suck up larger pieces of charcoal or debris.
  • The short spiral hose and 2-meter power cable offer restricted freedom of movement, making tasks like car cleaning difficult.
