Verdict

The Einhell 2351606 is a 12-liter ash filter canister accessory designed to connect directly to standard wet and dry vacuum cleaners via a 36 mm inlet to safely extract cold soot and ash from fireplaces, ovens, and barbecues without contaminating the main appliance. Key characteristics include a robust tinplate collection container, a 1-meter-long metal-reinforced suction hose, a lightweight aluminum suction tube, quick-release latches for fast emptying, and a practical carrying handle for transport. Main pros center on its capability to prevent fine dust and coarse soot from clogging or ruining a conventional household vacuum filter, as well as its lightweight gross weight of around 3 kg. However, notable cons are that it is an unpowered canister rather than a standalone vacuum cleaner, requires a separate suction source to operate, is strictly restricted to cooled ash, and can experience rapid drop-offs in suction if fine ash dust begins to clog the secondary household vacuum filter.
