What we like about Samsung Galaxy Tab 10 1 WiFi (1GB + 32GB)

  • Extremely thin and lightweight design, making it highly portable and comfortable for long-term use.
  • High-quality 10.1-inch WXGA display with vivid colors, sharp text, and wide viewing angles.
  • Solid battery life that typically lasts 9–12 hours of mixed usage.
  • Responsive performance for basic tasks like web browsing, email, and smooth 1080p local video playback.
  • Great build quality with a polished, premium aesthetic despite its plastic construction.
  • Support for Adobe Flash in the browser, providing a more complete web experience than contemporary rivals.

What we don't like about Samsung Galaxy Tab 10 1 WiFi (1GB + 32GB)

  • Complete lack of expandable storage (no microSD card slot).
  • No standard USB or HDMI ports, requiring expensive proprietary adapters for basic connectivity.
  • Uses a proprietary 30-pin charging connector instead of a standard micro-USB.
  • Performance can stutter or lag during heavy multitasking or when navigating the stock home screen.
  • Cameras (3MP rear, 2MP front) are considered sub-par and slow to focus.
  • The glossy screen is a significant fingerprint magnet and can be difficult to view in direct sunlight.

Verdict

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (GT-P7510) is a vintage Android tablet featuring a 10.1-inch WXGA (1280 x 800) TFT display and a slim 8.6mm profile. It is powered by a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Main pros include its remarkably lightweight and thin design for its era, high-quality screen with wide viewing angles, and solid battery life from its 7,000mAh cell. However, notable cons include the lack of a microSD slot for memory expansion, a proprietary charging port instead of standard USB, and limited connectivity options such as the absence of a dedicated HDMI output.
