What we like about Acer Iconia One 7 (1GB + 16GB)

  • Highly affordable and offers good value for the price
  • Unrestricted access to the Google Play Store, unlike competitors like Amazon Fire tablets
  • Lightweight and compact 7-inch design makes it very portable and easy to hold
  • Features a microSD card slot for expandable storage up to 32GB or 64GB depending on the model
  • Responsive touch screen and satisfactory performance for simple tasks like web browsing or reading
  • Robust parental controls and dedicated 'Kids Center' for child-friendly use

What we don't like about Acer Iconia One 7 (1GB + 16GB)

  • Poor build quality with a flimsy plastic chassis that often creaks and flexes
  • Extremely subpar cameras that produce grainy, low-quality photos
  • Heavy amount of pre-installed bloatware that cannot be fully uninstalled and consumes storage
  • Mediocre battery life, typically lasting only 6–7 hours under moderate use
