The pros of this keyboard include its rock-solid construction, featuring a durable, fingerprint-resistant brushed aluminum backplate with zero perceivable flex. It boasts premium, highly desirable hardware components like full per-key RGB backlighting and long-lasting PBT keycaps. Additionally, the review praises the inclusion of a cushioned, magnetically detachable wrist rest wrapped in a thick, textured leatherette cover, which actually outclasses the wrist rest bundled with Corsair's more expensive K95 RGB Platinum XT. A central focus of the review is the integration of Cherry Viola mechanical switches, a value-oriented line introduced by Cherry to phase out lower-quality membrane keyboards. The reviewer reports a positive experience with these components, noting they provide a smooth action, minimal wobble, an overall high-quality feel, and low acoustic noise. However, the keyboard does have a few minor cons. While the wrist rest features high-quality leatherette and thick cushioning, its internal foam feels a bit like...

The Corsair K60 RGB Pro SE is a full-size mechanical gaming keyboard that offers an affordable entry point into high-quality peripherals, retailing at $100. It features a solid build quality composed of a plastic base topped with a black brushed aluminium plate, resulting in zero flex or key wobble. The keyboard utilizes hot-swappable Cherry Viola mechanical switches, which use a two-stage linear "CrossLinear" design featuring a 45-gram actuation force and a 2mm actuation distance. This model distinguishes itself from cheaper versions in the lineup by including a magnetically detachable, cushioned wrist rest and wear-resistant PBT double-shot keycaps. It also provides full compatibility with Corsair’s polished iCue software for remapping keys, setting macros, and customizing the 10 brightness levels of its vibrant, per-key RGB lighting.

The Corsair K60 RGB Pro SE is identified by PCMag as a high-value, entry-level mechanical keyboard featuring durable PBT double-shot keycaps, a detachable wrist rest, and robust, customizable iCue software support. Its premium aesthetic and functional software capabilities allow it to compete with higher-priced alternatives in the entry-level market. Conversely, the review notes that to maintain a budget price, the keyboard utilizes Cherry Viola switches that produce a noticeable, tinny, echoing sound, along with a slight vertical key wobble. Additionally, the device lacks onboard storage, requiring the iCue software to remain active for custom profiles, and does not include dedicated media controls.
