According to the OCinside.de Review, the keyboard stands out for its high-quality construction, which includes a noble dark grey brushed aluminum top plate that can be easily removed, and highly reliable wireless response times. Key pros highlighted in the practical testing include the brilliant, evenly distributed, and individually addressable ARGB backlighting, excellent battery longevity reaching up to a week on Bluetooth with LEDs off, and seamless multi-system switching. Additionally, it provides great value at around 125 Euros by bundling a premium 18mm thick foam palm rest, a fabric-sheathed 2-metre cable, and a customisable three-way precision rotary knob. However, the review points out several specific drawbacks regarding its physical design and companion software ecosystem. On the hardware side, the combination of TTC Red linear switches, a tall plastic body, and a thick aluminum top plate results in a considerable overall height of 35mm, making the keyboard quite tall without the palm rest. Constructed with a robust plastic body and a noble dark grey aluminium top plate, it weighs a sturdy 720 grams and features linear TTC Red switches mimicking Cherry MX specifications. Key pros highlighted in the review include its multiple connectivity modes—comprising wired USB-C, 2.4 GHz low-latency wireless via an included dongle, and multi-device Bluetooth 5.1 supporting up to three devices across Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS. It also excels in customization, offering an easily removable top plate for styling, an integrated multi-functional rotary dial, bright, individually addressable RGB backlighting, two-part adjustable feet (5°, 8°, and 10° angles), and a bundled, non-slip foam palm rest. However, the review details several notable cons and quirks that users should consider. Built with a sandblasted aluminum top plate, it packs full-sized features into a compact body, including full RGB support, a physical 3-way dial, and on-the-fly key controls that do not require extra software. Its standout pro is its exceptional cross-device compatibility, offering wired USB-C, 2.4 GHz wireless, and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity that allows users to switch between three devices seamlessly. Furthermore, it officially supports Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android—while unofficially connecting to PlayStation and Xbox consoles—and its linear Cherry MX Red switches and physical keycaps offer a premium, quiet feel. However, the keyboard’s primary disadvantage is its underwhelming battery life, which is rated for up to 72 hours on a single charge but can drop significantly to between 40 and 45 hours during rigorous gaming. This underperforms significantly compared to rivals like the ASUS ROG Falchion, which delivers up to 450 hours with the RGB lighting turned off. While serious...

The We The Nerdy review of the Cooler Master CK721 highlights it as a highly versatile and impressive 65% compact layout mechanical keyboard. The reviewer praises its seamless hybrid connectivity, which includes Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz wireless via a USB dongle, and a wired USB-C connection, alongside excellent battery performance when used wirelessly. It stands out for its smooth and elegant typing experience, bright and customizable per-key RGB lighting, and an easily replaceable key setup. Furthermore, a physical multi-use dial offers advanced, real-time customisation options. Despite these strong positives, the review identifies two distinct drawbacks. First, the included foam wrist rest does not physically latch to the body of the keyboard, causing it to slip out of place occasionally during use. Second, the reviewer notes that the Bluetooth pairing process remains obnoxious and cumbersome due to the excessive number of key combinations required to switch devices. Overall, the review concludes that the CK721 represents a massive leap forward for Cooler Master's smaller form-factor keyboards, overcoming usual preferences against the 65% format.

A major highlight of the package is its focus on ergonomics, as it includes a firm, comfortable wrist rest that effectively reduces hand fatigue during long gaming sessions, alongside dual-angle kickstands. Performance-wise, the equipped TTC linear red switches deliver a smooth, responsive click that excels in competitive fast-paced shooters like Valorant and Apex Legends. Additionally, users gain access to the MasterPlus+ software, which unlocks a wide and uncommon palette of RGB lighting styles. Despite its high value, the keyboard has notable drawbacks, starting with a frustrating and time-consuming initial setup process. The reviewer experienced significant connectivity issues, spending 10 to 15 minutes engaging in trial-and-error just to get the PC to recognize the wireless dongle and USB-C cable. Hardware limitations are also present in the keycaps; the stock build uses thin...

Essential extras like a braided cable, a wireless dongle extender, and slightly textured keycaps strongly enrich the typing and unboxing experience. However, the review highlights several distinct weaknesses that hold the hardware back. Structurally, the keyboard still exhibits noticeable flex during heavier typing sessions despite its aluminum top plate, and the included foam wrist rest awkwardly sits higher than the keyboard itself. On the technical side, the per-key 16.8-million color RGB backlighting...

The ThinkComputers review highlights the Cooler Master CK721 as a versatile 65% hybrid wireless keyboard featuring robust connectivity (USB-C, 2.4GHz, Bluetooth) and a durable sandblasted aluminum top plate with a 3-way customizable dial. Users benefit from a satisfying linear typing experience with TTC switches, extensive software customization via MasterPlus+, and high-value accessories, including a foam wrist rest.
