The APH Networks review introduces the ASUS ROG Strix Scope NX TKL Moonlight White, a tenkeyless mechanical keyboard featuring a refreshing, modern look that steps away from the generic "black and red" gaming aesthetic. Shipped securely with extra cushioning, the unboxing experience is pristine and leaves a lasting premium impression, complete with bonus ROG stickers. Prominent pros derived from the design and initial setup include an incredibly "clean" and appealing white-and-gray color palette, per-key RGB LED backlighting compatible with ASUS Aura Sync, and highly versatile macro configurations where all keys are programmable except for the Fn button. On the technical and structural side, the keyboard boasts solid construction, built with a lightweight yet robust layout measuring 356 x 136.2 x 39.7 mm and weighing 880g with the cable. It provides user versatility by offering three options for proprietary switches—the ROG NX Red, Brown, and Blue. Furthermore, gamers and heavy typists will appreciate high-end features like a 1000 Hz USB report rate, full N-key rollover anti-ghosting, and a durable 1.8-metre detachable braided USB cable. summary of the ASUS ROG Strix Scope NX TKL Deluxe review: However, the keyboard has notable drawbacks, including noticeable switch wobble and an oversized left Ctrl key that breaks standard bottom-row layouts, making finding aftermarket replacement keycaps very difficult. Furthermore, attaching the included wrist rest completely blocks the front RGB lighting strip, and the restrictive cable slot prevents the use of most custom USB-C cables. Priced highly at S$199 (and S$259 for the Moonlight White edition), it lacks enthusiast-grade features like a hot-swappable PCB, meaning users cannot change switches without soldering. While it integrates seamlessly with existing ASUS ROG ecosystems, its niche design choices and premium price tag make it a tough sell over the competition.

The ASUS ROG Strix Scope NX TKL Deluxe is a compact, wired, tenkeyless gaming keyboard that marks a shift for the brand by utilizing their proprietary ROG NX Red linear switches instead of traditional Cherry MX options. On the positive side, the keyboard boasts exceptional build quality highlighted by a robust, rigid machined aluminum top-plate with a striking dual finish. It delivers rapid, effortless keystrokes tailored for high-speed gaming performance. Its per-key RGB lighting is a standout feature, augmented by a unique underglow light strip along the front edge. Additionally, the compatible Armoury Crate software offers powerful personalization, including useful Scenario Profiles for game-specific configurations. However, the keyboard suffers from notable drawbacks considering its premium ~$140 price point. The single-shot ABS keycaps feel distinctly cheap, slippery, and squeaky, leading the reviewer to recommend buying aftermarket PBT replacements. The new NX switches suffer from an irritating wobbly and loose feel across all keys, which negatively impacts the typing experience for day-to-day tasks outside of gaming. Furthermore, while a faux leather wrist rest is included, its magnetic attachments are weak, causing it...

The ASUS ROG Strix Scope NX Wireless Deluxe is a premium, full-sized gaming keyboard featuring a robust aluminum and plastic "Skeleton" design, highlighted by versatile tri-mode connectivity (USB, 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth) and exceptionally long battery life. Key pros include a comfortable magnetic leatherette wrist rest, a dedicated "Stealth" key, durable double-shot PBT keycaps, and optimized, fast-acting proprietary NX switches. Conversely, the review notes several cons, most notably the lack of hot-swappable switches, requiring soldering for modifications, and a non-standard bottom row that limits keycap replacements. Additional drawbacks include inconsistent RGB lighting on certain keys, a slightly noisy spacebar, and the reliance on the heavy, often clunky Armoury Crate software for customization.
