Reviews score

Reviews score
✕
What it is
Average grade from independent test sites, magazines and video reviewers, 1–10.
How we count it
Grades: Each review's own score is converted to 1–10; without one, we grade the review ourselves. Big test sites count more, short reviews half as much as full tests. A video review counts half.
Score: The average grade is 80% of the review mark; the number of reviews is the other 20% (1 review = 5, the typical number in this category = 8, the most-reviewed model = 10).
Enough data: With few reviews, the average grade is pulled toward the typical grade of this category. No reviews yet: 7.2 for now.
Share: Reviews count 25% of the overall score.

Third-party reviews

What we like about Hama Fit Track 6910

  • GPS and a route tracker record where you have been.
  • Heart rate and blood oxygen sensors are both built in.
  • A 1.5 hour charge is quick to top up.
  • The metal case adds durability for daily wear.
  • Vibrating alerts and notifications reach you on the wrist.
  • The IP68 rating keeps out dust and handles rain and showers.

What we don't like about Hama Fit Track 6910

  • The rated life of 6 days is short for a band with GPS on.
  • At 88 g it is heavy for all-day wear and sleep tracking.
  • The 1 m depth rating rules out swimming in deep water.
  • The 1.28 inch screen is small for reading route data.
  • Galileo support is missing, so positioning uses GPS alone.

Verdict

Built-in GPS and a route tracker are the reason to look at the Hama Fit Track 6910, a metal-cased band with a 1.28 inch color screen. Heart rate, blood oxygen and sleep tracking cover the health side, along with steps and calories. The 300 mAh battery charges in 1.5 hours, but the rated life is 6 days, so expect to charge it about once a week. The 88 g weight is noticeable on the wrist, and the 1 m depth rating limits it to splashes and shallow water. The touchscreen shows notifications, vibrating alerts reach you without a sound, and the band works with both Android and iOS. It suits a walker or runner who wants route tracking and health data in one band and does not mind charging it weekly.
