Verdict

The Einhell TC-AV 1718 D is a 1200 W cold-ash vacuum with 170 mbar suction and an 18-litre steel tank. Its two-stage filtration, 1 m metal-reinforced hose, aluminium tube and blower function are useful for routine fireplace, stove and barbecue cleanup. The 2 m cable and short hose limit reach, and it is not suitable for hot ash or wet debris.
