Verdict

The Fimi Palm 2 is a compact 3-axis stabilized gimbal camera featuring a 1/2.6-inch CMOS sensor capable of recording 4K UHD video at 30fps and 12MP stills through a 128° ultra-wide lens. Its standout characteristics include an upgraded 2600mAh battery providing up to 308 minutes of recording time, a built-in joystick for precise gimbal control, and a dedicated 3.5mm external microphone jack for improved audio. Main pros include its highly competitive price point, integrated Wi-Fi for smartphone app connectivity, and effective smart face tracking. However, its primary cons are the lack of 4K recording at 60fps, a non-waterproof build, and relatively weak low-light performance due to its smaller sensor size.
