What we like about Draper 13785

  • Impressive suction power for both dust, dirt, and heavy garage debris.
  • Compact size and included shoulder strap make it easy to carry and maneuver.
  • Comes with plenty of attachments for tackling various tasks, such as car interiors.
  • Rotating neck on the floor-head allows for easy cleaning under low obstacles like workbenches.

What we don't like about Draper 13785

  • Can get very hot quite quickly when operating.
  • Becomes uncomfortably warm when carrying it directly against your side/hip with the shoulder strap.
  • Floor-head can 'stick down' and make pushing difficult when used on carpets without the proper attachment.
  • Larger shards of timber or heavy debris can occasionally clog the floor-head.

Verdict

The Draper 13785 is a robust wet and dry vacuum with a 1,250 W motor, a 20 L stainless-steel tank, 13 kPa suction and up to 36 L/s airflow. A built-in blower, low 4.5 kg weight and a useful accessory set make it versatile for dry pickup. Liquid pickup is less convincing, and its 3.5 m cable limits reach.
