What we like about Nilfisk Buddy II 12

What we don't like about Nilfisk Buddy II 12

  • Noticeably loud noise level during operation
  • Short 4-meter power cable limits movement
  • Plastic extension tubes and attachments feel thin and flimsy
  • Plastic parts wedge together loosely and can pull apart during use
  • No built-in storage for the main vacuum hose

Verdict

The Nilfisk Buddy II 12 is a compact, light wet and dry vacuum with a 1,200 W motor, 200 mbar suction and a 12 L polypropylene tank. At 4.4 kg it is easy to move on its two rear wheels and two front castors, and the blower function helps clear difficult corners. It is loud at 87 dB(A), has a short 4 m cable and can be awkward when changing the dust bag.
