Verdict

The Ariete XVapor Plus Deluxe 4142 is a canister-style steam cleaner operating at 1500 watts of power and delivering a strong 5 bar of steam pressure to sanitize surfaces without chemical detergents. It features a large 1.6-litre water tank that provides an impressive continuous runtime of up to 55 minutes, alongside a 6-metre power cable for broad physical reach. Key advantages include an integrated storage base that neatly holds its 13 included cleaning accessories, an adjustable steam flow regulator, an eco-friendly operation that kills 99.9% of germs, and a built-in safety cap to prevent accidental steam leakage. However, notable drawbacks reported by users include a relatively long heating time of around 7 to 8 minutes, the tendency for the control handle to become uncomfortably hot during extended operation, and a design that makes completely draining the remaining water from the tank difficult.
