What we like about SUDOTACK ST-810

  • Excellent value for money, offering a complete kit (microphone, desktop stand, shock mount, pop filter, and foam cover) at a budget-friendly price point
  • Clear and crisp audio quality for podcasting, streaming, and voiceovers
  • Sturdy and robust build quality with a premium, all-metal microphone body
  • Extremely easy and plug-and-play setup with no additional drivers required on PC or Mac

What we don't like about SUDOTACK ST-810

  • Lacks onboard controls such as a mute button, volume knob, or gain control directly on the microphone
  • No LED indicator to show when the microphone is powered on or active
  • Tends to pick up moderate amounts of background and ambient noise (such as nearby keyboard typing) unless positioned optimally

Verdict

The Sudotack ST-810 is a professional USB condenser microphone featuring a 16mm back-electret capsule and a cardioid pickup pattern designed to minimize background noise. It supports high-resolution audio with a sampling rate of up to 192kHz/24-bit and a frequency response of 30Hz to 16kHz, ensuring clear and warm sound reproduction for podcasting and streaming. Main pros include its plug-and-play simplicity with Mac and Windows, solid metal construction, and a comprehensive kit that includes a weighted desktop stand, metal shock mount, and pop filter. However, it lacks a physical mute button and onboard gain controls, and some users have noted that the maximum 16kHz frequency limit may lack the top-end sparkle found in more expensive professional studio microphones.
