The user review from NerdsHeaven.de gives a highly favorable verdict on the Teufel Aureol Real headphones, highlighting them as a solid option for listeners who want a natural and detailed audio experience at a budget-friendly sale price. The reviewer notes that the device weighs only 185 grams and delivers exceptional, nuance-rich stereo performance spanning multiple musical genres. Key advantages of these headphones include an outstandingly comfortable fit that allows people who wear glasses to use them for 4 to 6 hours without issues. They also feature a generous package with a stable cloth bag, a 1.3-meter 3.5mm cable, and a 3-meter 6.3mm cable. Crucially, these cables are completely detachable, preventing accidental cord ripping.

The Teufel Aureol Real headphones offer an excellent balance of audio performance and long-term wearing comfort for a very affordable retail price of 99€. A major standout feature highlighted in the review is their ultra-lightweight design (180g) paired with high-quality padding on the headband and earcups, ensuring hours of comfortable use without sweating or fatigue. Sound quality is a massive pro across multiple use cases; thanks to the open-back construction, the headphones deliver an exceptionally spacious, transparent soundstage with precise audio localization that easily outperforms many dedicated "gaming headsets". Additionally, the generous package includes two detachable, red-sleeved cables with gold-plated connectors (a 1.3-meter 3.5mm cable and a 3.0-meter 6.3mm cable) for hassle-free pairing with mobile devices, gaming consoles, or home Hi-Fi systems.

Teufel Aureol Real Review Summary The Teufel Aureol Real is an affordable, lightweight (185g) open-backed headphone originally priced at €99.99, featuring 44 mm linear HD drivers with powerful neodymium magnets and a 50-ohm impedance. In terms of performance, it delivers a naturally balanced, dynamic, and spacious soundstage with excellent impulse fidelity across diverse genres, ranging from jazz and classical to electronic and punk rock. Vocals are cleanly structured and focused, while instrumentation benefits from sharp timing and a lack of muddy bass overhang. Furthermore, it showcases impressive structural build quality for its price point, offering low gap dimensions, a sturdy metal-reinforced adjustment mechanism, and a generously padded headband. The package is highly practical, including two high-quality fabric-coated cables—a 1.3-metre mobile cable and a 3-metre home cable, both with gold-plated connectors—alongside a protective transport pouch. Despite its strong value, the review notes a few key drawbacks, particularly regarding physical comfort and specific playback limits. During extended listening sessions, the ear cups retain heat, causing the user's ears to get uncomfortably warm. On the acoustic front, while the overall bass is dry...

Review Summary The Teufel Aureol Real is a lightweight, open-back, over-ear headphone weighing just 185 grams, equipped with 44mm neodymium drivers. Its strongest attribute is a highly balanced, warm, and high-resolution sound profile that handles deep bass and delicate vocals equally well without any harsh high frequencies. For connectivity, it features a practical detachable cable design and comes packaged with a 3-meter 6.35mm jack cable, a 1.3-meter 3.5mm mini-jack cable, and a transport pouch. However, the headphone compromises significantly on physical build and long-term ergonomics. The extensive use of plastic throughout the frame feels stable but compromises the overall tactile quality. Additionally, the fabric-coated cables create an irritating sawing noise in the left ear cup when rubbing against clothing. While the velour headband is exceptionally soft, the internal diameter of the ear pads is small and thin, causing them to rest directly on the ears. Combined with a 545-gram clamping force, this leads to uncomfortable pressure during extended listening sessions.

The IGN Germany hardware review highlights the Teufel Aureol Real as an open-back, hi-fi headphone option priced at an affordable 99 Euro. A major pro is its feather-light weight of 180 grams, combined with soft fabric ear padding, making it highly comfortable for extended sessions. Equipped with 44mm drivers and a 50-Ohm impedance, it can be easily driven by mobile devices without losing maximum volume. Sound-wise, the open-back construction delivers a clear, airy, and precise soundstage with crisp high-frequency details, which also makes it effective for pinpointing small acoustic details in video games. Conversely, the prominent con is its overwhelming use of lightweight plastic, giving it a delicate haptic feel that lacks a premium sense of value and makes it feel risky to throw unprotected into a bag. The fit is also somewhat stiff because it only adjusts by circumference without offering multiple articulation points. Acoustically, the middle frequencies are noticeably recessed compared to the emphasized highs and boosted bass, and the bass precision starts to suffer at very high volumes. Finally, because of the open-back design, it is poorly...

The Teufel Aureol Real is a lightweight, around-ear headphone available in black or white with distinct red accents, offering an incredibly comfortable and "cushy" fit thanks to its soft velour earcup and headband padding. Weighing just 180 grams, it features a practical, straight design with detachable cables, including a 1.5-meter cable with a 3.5mm jack for mobile devices and a 3-meter cable with a 6.35mm jack for home HiFi setups. Priced at around 100 Euros, the review highlights that while its price point sits firmly in the "upper class" category, its sensational sound performance punches well into the "top tier" bracket, making it an absolute bargain with an outstanding price-to-performance ratio. In terms of performance, the headphones excel with significant pros, including an outstanding 5 out of 5 stars for sound and fit, delivering deep, well-defined bass, highly detailed midrange frequencies, and a lively, crisp treble. The high level of tonality, dynamics, and overall resolution are heavily praised by the reviewer. On the downside, the cons include a more basic design, which scored a lower 3.5 out of 5 stars...
