Despite the high functionality, the review notes several clear drawbacks to consider. In terms of performance, the baseline audio quality is described as a bit muffled and flat out of the box, and the reviewer experienced occasional Bluetooth audio dropouts every couple of hours specifically when watching video. The dual-microphone array also produces a thin and wispy call quality. From a design standpoint, the headphones cannot fold into a compact size for convenient travel. Additionally, the included lightweight carrying bag is thin and offers minimal protection, leaving the soft foam ear pads susceptible to getting damaged or bent by pens and loose objects. Nevertheless, the review concludes that they are a standout budget purchase because of their excellent passive noise prevention that stops sound from bleeding out to nearby coworkers, combined with elite comfort and premium custom software.

The SoundGuys review of the Jabra Elite 45hGo highlights these lightweight, on-ear wireless headphones as a budget option with exceptional value, featuring an industry-leading battery life, efficient fast charging, and a high-quality dual-microphone system for clear calls. Additional benefits include Bluetooth Multipoint, a comfortable design, and custom sound profiles via the companion app. Conversely, the review notes significant drawbacks, including poor passive noise isolation and the absence of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which allows environmental noise to pass through. Furthermore, the lack of premium audio codecs like AAC or aptX and a non-folding, less portable design are cited as limitations.

The PCMag review for the Jabra Elite 45hGo gives the $100 on-ear headphones a 4.5/5 rating, praising their comfortable, lightweight design, powerful bass-forward audio, and exceptional 50-hour battery life. Additional highlights include clear microphone performance, app-based EQ customization, and compatibility with voice assistants. While audio performance is strong, the review notes a poorly executed control layout, where combined buttons for volume and track navigation make it easy to accidentally skip tracks. Despite these minor control design drawbacks, the Elite 45h are recommended as a high-performing budget option.

The Jabra Elite 45h is a budget-friendly, lightweight wireless on-ear headphone featuring exceptional battery life, strong connectivity, and a warm, punchy sound profile with a "syrupy" lower end, as noted in the review. While the Sound+ app offers excellent customization, the unit faces limitations due to a lack of Active Noise Cancellation, poor passive isolation, and a wobbly, unrefined bass. audioreviews.

The Jabra Elite 45h wireless over-ear headphones deliver exceptionally robust "stamina" with an outstanding 50-hour battery life on a single charge, alongside a quick-charging feature that yields 10 hours of playback from just 15 minutes of power via USB-C. Weighing only 160 grams, this affordable pair of headphones (£69) features a lightweight yet robust plastic design that remains comfortable for hours despite minimal headband padding. Users gain access to comprehensive on-ear physical controls and the stable, highly customizable Jabra Sound+ companion app, which includes EQ presets, custom tuning sliders, and a personalized hearing test to tailor audio levels. Sonically, the headphones feature an incredibly "lively" and relentless presentation that aggressively pushes tempos and heavily skews toward an up-front, edgy treble response. While the detailed midrange provides excellent vocal clarity and soundstage depth, the heavy bass response can feel detached from the rest of the frequency range. Beyond this potentially exhausting sound profile, the main physical drawbacks include the approximate nature of the fit, which causes the headphones to leak sound readily, and earcups that rapidly absorb and reflect ear heat.

The Jabra Elite 45h is an outstanding pair of affordable, on-ear wireless headphones that deliver powerful, bass-forward audio performance for a retail price of $99. Equipped with 40mm drivers, these headphones excel at providing clean, distortion-free sub-bass and a vibrant overall sound signature that can be heavily customized using the Jabra Sound+ app's highly effective adjustable EQ and MySound hearing profile features. Designed with comfort and portability in mind, they feature plush memory foam leatherette earpads, a cushioned rubbery headband, and flat-swiveling earcups that fit neatly into an included neoprene drawstring pouch. Additional notable highlights include a phenomenal 50-hour battery life with quick-charging capabilities (10 hours of life from a 15-minute charge), seamless integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and an intelligent microphone system that provides excellent call clarity while piping in a bit of your own voice for a more natural speaking experience. Despite their luxury-tier app features, the headphones do carry a few limitations due to their lower price point, as they lack premium additions like active noise cancellation (ANC), ambient listening modes, or dedicated fitness tracking....

The standout feature is its industry-leading, massive battery life, which delivers up to 50 hours of playback from a single charge, plus an additional 10 hours of use after just 15 minutes of charging via USB-C. In terms of performance, the headphones deliver a remarkably energetic, punchy, and upbeat sound that uncovers high levels of detail across a three-dimensional soundstage. However, this lively tuning comes with drawbacks: the treble leans on the edgy side and risks becoming aggressive, while the potent bass can occasionally sound slightly detached from the midrange. Additional downsides include a physical design built with thin, hard plastics that can heat the ears quickly, as well as a noticeable tendency to leak audio despite their closed-back build. Finally, the two-microphone...
